Signs and boards on the construction site
On the construction site, work is taking place that requires special care and the creation of the safest possible conditions for workers to perform their duties. Sometimes even staying near a construction site forces bystanders to behave in specific ways to avoid a possible accident. For this reason, appropriate signs and construction boards are used.
We mark the construction site with an information board
According to the construction law, every construction site must be marked yellow information board. This is necessary to verify the nature of construction. There must be specific data on the board. They are:
- Type of construction and its address
- Permit number
- Data of the person in charge of construction supervision
- Details of the investor, contractor, construction manager, works manager, supervisor and designer
- Phone number for the District Labor Inspector
- In addition, emergency numbers for the fire department, police and ambulance
The board must comply with the construction law issued by the Minister of Infrastructure dated June 26, 2002. and correspond to the points of § 13 para. 1 points 3, 4, 5. Lack of a construction information board is an offense for which you can receive a fine.
Hazard information
A construction site is a place where various machines and equipment work, work at height takes place, and there is a risk of accidental detachment and dropping of a heavy component. That's why it's very important to make proper use of signs and building signs that inform about specific hazards. They have a distinctive yellow color and a black border and lettering. They are a warning to both workers and others authorized to be on and off the construction site. Among such signs are: Note! Staying within reach of the machine prohibited, Note! Non-employees forbidden to enter, Storage of waste strictly prohibited or Note! Building to be demolished.
Construction site health and safety signs
The construction site is a workplace, so it is subject to the rules, standards and requirements related to Occupational Health and Safety. The employer or owner of the site is obliged to provide such conditions for the working people so that they can perform their duties as safely as possible. It is also up to them to mark the area with proper signs. All occupational health and safety signs available in our store comply with the current PN-EN ISO 7010:2012 standard. They are made on PVC rigid board (yellow building signs are usually made on 0.6 mm thick yellow BN board).

Combined signs
The large number of signs and boards that are on the construction site can, in some cases, introduce organizational chaos. There is a shortage of space to place them, and in a designated, sometimes small area, several orders and bans may apply. This problem is solved by special boards with several characters on them, np.:
- Note! dangerous area, Unauthorized entry prohibited
- Construction site, Use protective helmet, Use reflective vest, Use protective footwear, Use sleeve
- Unauthorized entry prohibited, Crossing the other side of the street
The construction site requires signage in accordance with applicable standards. Signs and boards must clearly indicate the required behavior, warning of danger or prohibition of a particular behavior. This is a guarantee of work safety, as well as introduces a certain order, streamlining work.
